Heifer 2442 is a Registered Fullblood South Poll heifer.  She is a red heifer that was born on our ranch on March 5th, 2024.  She is a great-granddaughter of Broadway on both her dam and sire's side.  This heifer is shy and likes to be in a group.  She will not be happy as an only cow.

Her dam is a cow who is turning 7 years old this year and weighs around 1000 lbs.  In 2023 we retained only one bull calf for our herd.  It was hers. 

Heifer 2442 is out of Bull 1907.  You can find a picture of 1907 and some of his older daughters here .      

Heifer 2442 is exclusively grass-fed, eating grasses such as coastal bermuda and behia and cover crops along with hay in the-off season and quality minerals.  She has been rotationally grazed behind a single strand of hotwire.  She has tested negative for BVD PI.
