75% South Poll Cow 2179 is a 4-year-old bred cow.  She was born on our ranch in 2021.  She last calved on 1/13/2025 and we have retained that heifer calf as replacement calf for our own herd.  2179 is bred back to calve between January 12 and March 3, 2026.  She is a daughter of bull 6400 and a great-granddaughter of Romeo.  When we weaned her 2025 calf the 2nd week of September, 2179 weighed 1090 lbs.  She was exposed to the following four Fullblood South Poll bulls: 1948 (Reg # 41719), 2121 Mack (Reg # 48261), 2103 Jackson Storm (Reg 48258) and 2307 (Reg # 53582).          

Cow 2179 is exclusively grass-fed, eating grasses such as coastal bermuda and behia and cover crops along with hay in the-off season and quality minerals year-round.  She has been rotationally grazed, moving daily behind a single strand of hotwire.
