Fullblood South Poll Cow 1817 is a 7-year-old cow. She was born on our ranch in 2018. We have retained her 2023 bull calf as one of our main herd sires. We are selling her for simplicity's sake. We don't want him to breed his own dam. This is a great opportunity to get a quality cow for your own herd along with a potential bull for your herd.
Cow 1817 is a granddaughter of Broadway and also sports lineage from Chief. She is the daughter of Cow 1406, the 14-year-old cow in Lot #1 in this auction. We expect that she will exhibit longevity like her dam. Cow 1817 weighed 1145 lbs. on 10/6/2025. She has not been exposed to a bull since calving and is ready for your bull.
Bull Calf 2551 was born on May 10th weighing 55 lbs. On Oct. 6th, he weighed approximately 300 lbs. He is a son of our Bull 1948. You can see information on Bull 1948 by clicking here.
This pair is exclusively grass-fed, eating grasses such as coastal bermuda and behia and cover crops along with hay in the-off season and quality minerals year-round. They have been rotationally grazed, moving daily behind a single strand of hotwire. Both 1817 and 2551 have tested negative for BVD PI.
