Heifer 2454 is a Fullblood South Poll.  She is a red heifer that was born on our ranch on October 1, 2024.  She is a virgin heifer and has not been exposed to a bull, but is ready to be bred.  She weighs approximately 640 lbs. on March 18, 2026.  Her dam is an 1100 lbs. cow and we expect Heifer 2454 to have a similar mature size.  Heifer 2454 descends from Chief and R416.  Her dam is Cow 1818, Lot #10 in this sale.  

Heifer 2454 is exclusively grass-fed, eating grasses such as coastal bermuda, behia, and cover crops along with hay in the-off season and quality minerals year round.  She has been rotationally grazed behind a single strand of hotwire.  She has tested negative for BVD PI.  If you have any questions about this lot or any lot in the sale, please reach out to us at 903-681-4211 or info@hoofandhide.com.
