Fullblood South Poll Cow 2321 is a 3-year-old cow. She was born on our ranch in 2023 and descends from Broadway, Chief, and Bubba Joe. She is the daughter of a 10-year-old cow still in our herd that has calved consistently for us. We expect that Cow 2321 will exhibit longevity just like her dam. She weighed approximately 875 lbs. on 3/18/2026. We expect that she might have a little more growth in her before she reaches her full mature weight. Her dam weighs around 970 lbs. Cow 2321 has not been exposed to a bull since calving and is ready for your bull.
Bull Calf 2615 was born on January 11th weighing 60 lbs. His sire is 1948, the same as his dam. We didn't plan this mating. There were two bulls turned in with the herd. We realized 2 days after we turned the bulls in that a few of 1948's daughters were in the pasture. We then separated those out and bred them separately. Calving date and DNA sire identification shows this heifer was an over-achiever and bred right away in those first two days of ever being exposed to bulls. We have registered bull calf 2615 to give you a choice whether you keep him as a bull or decide to castrate him and use for beef. On 4/16/2026 the calf weighed approximately 220 lbs.
This pair is exclusively grass-fed, eating grasses such as coastal bermuda, behia, and cover crops along with hay in the-off season and quality minerals. They have been rotationally grazed, moving daily behind a single strand of hotwire. Both cow and calf have tested negative for BVD PI.
