Please note, this pair replaces the original cow that was listed as Lot 1 (removed due to limping).  We had several inquires about pairs and we just started calving our fall heifers.  2437 is 2nd of our heifers to calve.

Registered Purebred South Poll 2437 is a 2-year-old, 1st-calf heifer.  She just calved unassisted on 10/6/2026 and the picture and video of her with her calf was taken before the calf was even 24 hours old.  2437 was born and raised on our ranch.  Her sire is Bull 1907.  You can find a picture of him here .  2437 also descends from Broadway and Chief.  She weighed approximately 1000 lbs on 9/22/2026, prior to having her calf.

Heifer Calf 2663 was born on 10/6/2026 weighing 58 lbs.  DNA on Calf 2663 has already been submitted to Neogen for processing.  The calf is out of either Fullblood South Poll Bull 6400 (Reg. # 37362) (picture of 6400 here) or Fullblood South Poll Bull 2404 "Victor" (Reg. # 73938).  Hoof & Hide LLC will pay for and transfer the calf's registration once Neogen has identified the sire.  Calf 2663 will be registered as a Purebred South Poll.

2437 is exclusively grass-fed, eating grasses such as coastal bermuda and behia and cover crops along with hay in the-off season and quality minerals year-round.  She has been rotationally grazed, moving daily behind a single strand of hotwire.
