Bull 2194 "Harv" (Reg # 52735) is 3 years old Registered Fullblood (100%) South Poll Bull.  He boasts lineage from South Poll foundation bulls 4401, Broadway, and Dandy.  Harv has a darker coloring than some South Poll Bulls that we think it makes him look like the cool kid on the block!  We have used Harv on our cattle, but have too many bulls his age with more coming on.  We have collected semen on Harv and will retain the rights to the semen we already have collected.  We anticipate using it on our cows and/or heifers in future years.  In the past two years we have started to integrate more artificial ingemination into our breeding program to allow for some more selective pairing to our own bulls. Harv was born here on our ranch in 2021 weighing 78 lbs.  His calves average a birthweight of 71 lbs.  We sold Harv's dam last year at the age of 10.5 years old.  She was bred at the time and still in production.  She is a really nice cow we bought directly from Bent Tree.  Harv's sire, a son of Broadway, is still in service at 9 years old at our neighbor's ranch.  Harv has been exclusively grass-fed, eating our coastal bermuda grasses along with planted cover crops and during the winter, coastal bermuda and alfalfa hay.  Harv stands behind one-strand of hotwire and is used to being rotationally grazed.  He is good tempered and prefers to stay farther away from you.  He is not one that will be in your pocket or rubbing on you.  Please call or email us at 903-681-4211 to view or purchase this bull.  We will provide a current breeding soundness exam and trichomoniasis test prior to sale.
