Heifer 2301 "Trisha" is a Registered 62.5% South Poll heifer.  She is a red cow that was born on our ranch and was the first calf born in our 2023 calf crop.  She descends from Broadway and Bubba Jones on her sire's side.  On her dam's side, she descends from Greg Judy stock.  Although Trisha is a 100% South Poll, because the Greg Judy bull in her lineage was not registered, it downgraded her in the registry.  Trisha currently weighs around 900 lbs.  Her dam's mature weight was around 1150 lbs.  Trisha has been a favorite around here.  She has a great personality, but because we are in the process of phasing out our percentage South Polls she is offered for sale.  We hope she will find a very happy home.

Trisha is exclusively grass-fed, eating grasses such as coastal bermuda and behia and cover crops along with hay in the-off season and quality minerals.  She has been rotationally grazed behind a single strand of hotwire.  She has tested negative for BVD PI.
