Registered Fullblood South Poll Cow 1825 is an 8-year-old bred cow.  She was born on our ranch and we are watching her little 2026 heifer calf as a possible replacement heifer.  Cow 1825 last calved on February 8, 2026 and is bred back to calve January to March 2027.  She descends from Brutus, Chief, and 4401.  Cow 1825 weighed approximately 985 lbs on 9/3/2026 when she weaned her 2026 heifer calf.  Cow 2185 was exposed to the following five Fullblood South Poll bulls: 1948 (Reg # 41719), 2121 Mack (Reg # 48261), 2307 (Reg # 53582), 2426 Henry (Reg # 65253), and 2450 Titus (Reg # 76646).  She is bred back to calve January to March 2027.  To make it easier to test the calf’s DNA, DNA sire markers for all potential sires are already on file with the South Poll Registry.  Cow 1825 is a cow that will be happier in a larger group.  She is a cow that gets nervous by herself.  She has a bump on her back.  The neighbors saw a tree branch fall on her in the summer of 2025.  Other than the bump, we have not noticed any issues related to getting hit by the branch.  She successfully carried her calf and delivered her in 2026 and is currently bred back.  

Cow 2185 is exclusively grass-fed, eating grasses such as coastal bermuda and behia and cover crops along with hay in the-off season and quality minerals year-round.  She has been rotationally grazed, moving daily behind a single strand of hotwire.  Her positive pregnancy test and negative BVD PI test will be attached for your reference.
